WEB DESIGN

Here you will find just a small selection of the websites I have designed

The Bath Bunn Teashoppe
&
Hands Georgian Tearooms

The owners of The Bath Bunn Teashoppe and Hands Georgian Tearooms based in Bath, came to me when their websites were removed from the internet by their previous hosting provider.

After having a conversation with them, they informed me that they wanted both of the websites to mirror each other in design at the same time, individually both fully branded in their own logo colours and fonts.

I was able to gather the content from the previous websites that I was able to pick apart then rewrite using the main parts and using a mixture of images from the original websites and also their Instagram account.

This was a successful project with very happy owners saying that I was really easy to work with.

Gemstone Consultancy

Gemstone Consultancy was passed to me from another website design agency who don’t use WordPress.  They were looking for a new, modern website but keeping in line with the original lilac/purple theme from the logo throughout.

Being a therapy business, they wanted the website to be light and airy with the feel of calmness.  I was able to take a lot of the content from the original website however, rewritten it to keep it fresh along with some new images.

FG Artisan Designs

Web Design

FG Artisan Designs was after a new website for their new jewellery business.  They wanted to give visitors the option to purchase pieces of jewellery so we went down the E-Commerce route.

I started off by sending a questionnaire over to them to either complete with bullet points or as paragraphs of text to help with the content on the website.

The price included up to 20 products to be uploaded so I also sent over a spreadsheet for them to complete which gave me all of the information I needed to be able to upload a new detailed product.

So FG Artisan Designs could upload their own products, I provided a fully branded user manual but I am always on hand when assistance is required.

Holt Netball Club

Web Design

Holt Netball Club’s original website hadn’t been updated for quite a while and following new kit, they wanted a new website.

The new website includes club information, teams, results, junior section and a way to contact the club.

The club’s website is updated yearly with club and team changes and fixtures being added.  It is also updated weekly throughout the season with scores and any other changes mid-season.

JW Ransome and Sons

Web Design

JW Ransome and Sons original website was dated and wasn’t showing where they wanted it to show.

I recreated the whole website giving it a new modern, easy to read look.  I created an interactive map that showed the major locations that they provide their services to.

Including internal links starting on the homepage help visitors navigate easily around the website.

Country Mini Skips

Country Mini Skips came to me as they were after changes to their website but were struggling with their previous provider.

I ended up giving the website a whole new look.  Making it easy to read, fully branded using the company colours and also embedded the company video on auto-play on the homepage.

General updates occur regularly and I am on hand when they want any major updates added including new pages or information and I complete all changes as soon as possible.

Lovetotreasure Gifts

Lovetotreasure Gifts came to me as the ‘create your own’ website they made wasn’t quite right.  We discussed the requirements and decided on an e-commerce website would be the best option.

I sent them a product spreadsheet to add up to 20 products which are included in the price and also created a branded user manual so they could update their own products when they wanted to.

We embedded their Etsy reviews on the homepage and have included a box on each product page that allows the purchaser to add a name for their Certificate of Authenticity.

ELSI SW were a start up, Christian care business when they came to me.

Their requirements were a built in document management system that would allow staff to sign in and read current policies for the business.  They also wanted to be centered around the Christian faith, with verses from the Bible spread throughout the website.

Since the business expanded and gained more certifications, various updates occur to keep the website up to date with these changes.

Nick Blackwell Boxing

Web Design

Nick Blackwell came to me looking for a website where he could share his story about his boxing career and mainly his boxing fight against Chris Eubank Jr leaving him in an induced coma after brain injury.

Starting with an auto-play video as soon as the website is entered makes it very eye catching straight away.

I sent him a questionnaire that we used as one of the pages and he also sent me a number of photographs and links to videos that he wanted included.
