My work consists of mainly web design along with Social Media and now some logo and business card designs.   Here is a selection of my work:

Website Design

ELSI SW

ELSI SW is a care provider based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.  As a new start up, they were after a website that was modern, reactive and showed visitors how they were unique to other care providers.

Keeping with the blue, yellow and grey branding throughout the whole website, it became personal to them.

The main feature they needed was a Staff Portal that allowed carers to login and view policies.

“CLC Digital UK comes highly recommended. Claire was reliable, efficient & trustworthy.  From start to finish she listened to exactly what I wanted my website to look like & applied it perfectly.  The whole process was easy & stress free.  Claire also created a user guide for my website.  I am very happy with my website, it looks very professional and has been designed to a high standard.  Thank you for all your hard work Claire :-)”

– Charis, ELSI SW

Marc Bolwell Photography

Marc wanted a website for his photography start up business to show his photographs to a high standard. We sat down together and discussed what he wanted to include and a design he had seen he liked the look of.

Using the brief, I put together a website that gave his photographs justice.

Marc also requested to go for the user manual options so he can now update his website whenever he would like to.

“Claire recently completed my website for a new Sports Photography start up. She professionally completed this following my initial brief and listened to what kind of website I was after within my budget. Claire offered creative suggestions and was quick to respond If I had any concerns or wanted certain things changing. I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend Claire.”

Website Design

JP Vehicle Services

Jason already had a website but wanted something that was going to be eye catching but also a website that stood out against other local mechanics.

With a red and black logo, the branding was kept throughout with only images and videos in black and red being used.

I took a couple of photographs, changed them to black and white apart from the red in the original photographs to give it that personal look.

“I really needed a new website as I made a basic one on one of the free websites. She helped me from start to finish including writing a lot of the content. She took some photos at my workshop and changed them so they matched the colours on my new website. It now looks really smart and I’m really pleased with it. My website is already climbing up on Google and I have gained so much work from it as well. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

Website Design

Blueridge Farm

Jane and Paul from Blueridge Farm came to me as they were looking to expand their farming business to include motorhome hire.

They wanted a booking system incorporated to allow visitors to check to see if the motorhome was available for the dates they were after and to book it if it was.  Visitors are able to include any extras, including dogs, which would then reveal the final price.

They chose the user manual option so they can organise the bookings themselves and when they grow their collection of motorhomes they can add it to the website.

The blue from their logo was used throughout the website to keep branding in line and to add a personal touch, a video of their own cows on the homepage.

“We were looking for a local web designer to revamp our old website to merge the 3 areas of our business and to include SEO searches and a booking system. Claire from CLC was the perfect choice, a local business women with excellent knowledge and ideas. Claire developed a website perfect for our needs, branding and our technical abilities. The user manual Claire provided is user friendly, giving us the confidence to move our business forward. We Highly recommend CLC Digital UK. “

Holt Netball Club

Holt Netball Club approached me as they were having issues with their original website with visitors not being able to access it.

I created a bright, but fully branded, website for the club to give them a professional look. Each team page is regularly updated with scores and players of the matches being added as soon as the games have taken place to keep the website active.  All of the club and England Netball documents and policies are easily accessable along with any news that is happening.

Jane Warren Interior Design

Jane was looking to pursue her dream of becoming an interior designer and wanted a website to show people what she was capable of.

We have a discussion about what she was looking for.  I put together a design for her to look at and we went from there to create a website that suited her needs.  Jane already had a logo so the colours from that were taken and used throughout the website.

Jane also requested to go down the user manual route so she could update the website as often as she wanted to.  We also completed a small training session so she felt comfortable.

This website is no longer live

“Claire was recommended to me when I started my business. I wanted a easy to maintain website to support the business and Claire has managed to do this efficiently and professionally. Claire also talked me through the user process so I can maintain the site going forward. I would definitely recommend Claire.”

SJ Counselling Services

Sam offers an alternative to face-to-face counselling but didn’t have anywhere she could send people to to find out more about her services.

She came to me and we discussed websites and content. I put together a couple of potential logo designs together and the style of the new logo was used throughout the website.

Keeping it light and airy, made it welcoming to visitors.

Mark J Pursey and Son

Mark came to me as he was after a new website for his long running business.

He wanted to make sure visitors were able to see that the business is Accoya Accredited which was one of the main reasons for the website.

I kept the website branding throughout the whole website and gave it a bit of movement instead of a basic homepage.

Website Re-Design

Diverse Cleaning Services

Diverse Cleaning Services already had a website however it hasn’t been touched for a number of years so was in need of a refresh.

I started by sending them an example homepage that I had put together for them to view to see if they were happy with what I could offer.

I then used the information on their current website and gave it a new layout including an eye-catching video at the top of the homepage.  I also added a number of their reviews from their Facebook page as a carousel on the homepage.

Website Re-Design

Doric Park

Doric Park is part of Trowbridge Rugby Club who came to me to discuss their website. The original website was an over crowded, one pager with 16 menu tabs across the top most of which took visitors to exactly the same place.

I sat down with them and discussed splitting the page into separate pages, making it easier to read and removing a lot of the menu tabs. I was able to cut the menu down to just 5 tabs whilst not losing any of the original content.

Not Just Cards

Not Just Cards is a small crafting business that was originally just a brochure style website where visitors could view previous makes.

I have modified the website so it is now an e-commerce website which allows visitors to buy any of the products available.

It can take orders and payments via PayPal with the option to also mark orders as complete and dispatched.

Website Design

Best Handmade

Best Handmade is an online marketplace for crafters and small businesses.  The idea was to allow small businesses to sign up, sell their crafts and take home more of their earnings compared to other marketplace websites as well as removing the worldwide competition.

The whole website is fully customisable allowing admin to fully brand it to match the logo and colours. Featured products and categories can be set and particular products and categories can be chosen. Fees can be set site wide and per vendor and payment can be taken via PayPal or Stripe. Vendors are able to personalise their shop and set their own prices and shipping costs.

Peace for Ukraine

Peace for Ukraine is a charity event running for just three months to help raise money for a charity running a hospital on the Ukrainian, Polish border for Ukrainian refugees.

They came to me as they wanted a website that held all the information about the event instead of just a Facebook page.

I sat down with the organiser and we discussed what they would like included. They wanted to make sure that all the sponsors were recognised on the site but also give information about the art competition, workshops and the auction that was going to take place.

The website is completed with a Ukrainian flag video on the homepage (video only viewed on a laptop, desktop and tablet).

The event and this website will be running until the end of August 2022.

Social Media

ALPHR Technology Ltd

ALPHR Technology is an automation company providing a range of test and complex assembly solutions.

Before taking on their social media accounts, they didn’t have anyone who concentrated on this side of their marketing and depended on the Sales team to post and share when they could.

I was asked to come in and take on their LinkedIn account and set up their Twitter account and agreeing 2 posts per week, per platform. The posts can range from company news, industry news and anything in between.

Since joining, the followers for both accounts have increased every month with engagement also growing month by month.

Logo Design

DLB Beauty

DLB Beauty is a start up beauty and waxing business based in Trowbridge. Starting with a blank canvas, Deborah gave me an idea of what she was after and the type of colours and I went away and put together a design that she was really pleased with. I provided her with 3 files, one main logo, a smaller version and a watermark image.

Claire Connell is amazing with logos and helping find the right one for your business. She helped me choose a logo that suits me. Highly recommend. I love it!!

Logo Design

CxLxtensions

Chelsea came to me with a logo design that she had seen but wanted it to include a bit more to it for her new hair extensions business.

I re-created the look that she was looking for and created a main square logo, a circle logo that can be used as a social media profile picture and as a watermark image and also a Facebook cover/banner image.

Business Card & Logo Design

RJ Cleaning

Lucy and Rob came to me as they were setting up their own cleaning business. They had a couple of ideas in mind along with the colours they wanted to go with.

After creating version 1 of the business card and logo, the company name was changed so I came up with a couple of designs that went well with the new name.

This logo will now be used on clothing and as branding on the side of a company vehicle.

Logo Design

FG Artisan Designs

Fiona came to me as she was just setting up her new jewellery business. We sat down, had a chat and discussed the kind of designs she liked the look of and the colours she was aiming for and this is what I came up with. A Celtic Knot design altered to show a heart in the middle instead of the standard circle.

FG Artisan Designs’ website is in progress and will be live shortly giving visitors the opportunity to purchase her handmade jewellery.
